okay just needed to rant,its bloody annoying, and illogical. the mechanisms don't make sense,neither do the behaviour of the compounds. i mean why have an ideal gas law,if they don't even actually exist? sheesh. but at least i've managed to draw a parallel between chemistry and life.
the ideal gas law states that real gases tend to ideal gas behaviour at high temperatures and low pressure, but deviate from ideality because of low temperature and high pressure. and now applying this law to the real world, in terms of guys, the ideal boyfriend would be totally hot, yet not pressurizing you into doing things you don't want to do, while in reality,jerks are aplenty, the not-so-hot kind who always want more. who would have thought that the ideal gas law and the Ideal Boy law were so similar? haha..so, prelims are 14 days away? man,i'm scared.
now i've just gotta find a chem tutor who looks like scofield.
